This Privacy Policy explains how ChemMed Corp (“ChemMed,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit chemmedcorp.com (the “Site”), request a quote, download the Creator Starter Kit, subscribe to our emails or otherwise contact us. It does not cover information we receive under a signed manufacturing, supply or confidentiality agreement; those agreements govern that information.
1. Who we are
ChemMed Corp is a contract manufacturer located at 5904A Warner Ave #230, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@chemmedcorp.com or (312) 925-1922.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote requests: first and last name, company or brand name, email address, dosage form, estimated annual volume and any project details you choose to share.
- Creator Starter Kit and email signups: your name and email address, and any other fields shown on the signup form.
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email, phone or other channels, including attachments.
Information collected automatically
- Server and device data: our hosting provider automatically logs technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring page and date and time of access.
- Campaign data: if you arrive through a link containing campaign tags (for example
utm_sourceorutm_campaign) or a LinkedIn click identifier, we record those values to understand which campaigns bring visitors, and may attach them to your signup. - Email engagement: our email provider may record whether our emails are delivered and opened and which links are clicked.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see section 6 and our Cookie Policy.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us through the Site, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, health information about yourself or others, or other sensitive personal information.
3. How we use information
- To respond to quote requests and inquiries, assess project feasibility and communicate with you about a potential or existing business relationship.
- To deliver the Creator Starter Kit and other resources you request.
- To send marketing emails you have signed up for (see section 4).
- To understand how the Site and our campaigns perform and to improve them.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights.
4. Email marketing
When you request the Creator Starter Kit or otherwise subscribe, you agree to receive occasional emails from ChemMed Corp with product-development tips, resources and information about our services. We may ask you to confirm your subscription by email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing us. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional or relationship messages, such as replies to your quote request.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf under contract, including website hosting and form handling (Netlify), email marketing (Sender.net), business email (Microsoft 365) and web fonts (Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load).
- Advertising measurement: if we use LinkedIn’s Insight Tag to measure our LinkedIn campaigns, LinkedIn receives information about your visit (see section 6). Under some state laws this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out as described in section 9.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of ChemMed Corp, our clients or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
6. Cookies, browser storage and analytics
The Site uses a small amount of browser storage to remember campaign tags during your visit. Our email signup form, provided by Sender.net, may use cookies or similar technologies to display and protect the form. If we enable LinkedIn’s Insight Tag, LinkedIn may set cookies to measure ad performance and build audiences. Our Cookie Policy explains each of these and how to control them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. There is no common standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, so the Site does not respond to them. The Site does honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we do not load the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. In general, we keep quote-request and correspondence records for as long as a business relationship is possible or ongoing and then as required for legal, tax and recordkeeping purposes. We keep email subscription records until you unsubscribe, plus a limited suppression record so we continue to honor your opt-out. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don’t send confidential formulas or trade secrets through the Site’s forms; ask us for a mutual non-disclosure agreement first.
9. Your choices and rights
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Cookies and tracking: adjust your browser settings, enable Global Privacy Control, or use the options in our Cookie Policy.
- Access, correction and deletion: email us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
California residents
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies to our handling of your information, you have the right to:
- Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money; if LinkedIn advertising measurement is active, you can opt out by enabling Global Privacy Control or emailing us with the subject “Do Not Share”;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Categories collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (name, email, IP address); commercial and professional information (company, product interest, project details); internet activity (pages visited, referring URL, campaign tags, email engagement); and inferences about your product interests. Sources: you, your device and our service providers. Purposes and recipients are described in sections 3 and 5.
How to submit a request: email contact@chemmedcorp.com with the subject “Privacy Request” or call (312) 925-1922. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we hold, and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity directly.
“Shine the Light”: California Civil Code § 1798.83 lets California residents ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. We do not make such disclosures.
Other U.S. states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights, including the right to appeal our decision on a request. Contact us using the details below; to appeal, reply to our decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”
10. Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from the United States, and information is processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or another region with similar laws, we rely on your consent (for marketing emails), our legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries and securing the Site) and steps you ask us to take before entering a contract. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Confidential business information
We treat product details you share in a quote request as confidential and use them only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. Formulas and other proprietary information shared during a project are governed by the confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement between us.
13. Third-party links and services
The Site links to other websites and uses services, such as Sender.net and LinkedIn, that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
